Sean is a professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Portland State University. Sean’s scholarly activity is focused on the teaching and learning of advanced mathematics. He especially likes to do instructional design work that draws on the Theory of Realistic Mathematics Education.

Steve is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at CSU, Chico. His research in undergraduate Mathematics Education is primarily focused on developing inquiry-oriented, student-centered instructional sequences for upper-division math courses using the design theory of Realistic Mathematics Education. This research blends his passions for mathematics, understanding student thinking, and pedagogy.

Tenchita is a Graduate Research Assistant finishing up a PhD in Mathematics Education in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Portland State University. Her dissertation work is on students' collective mathematical activity in proof-based courses with a focus on how it transpires in remote environments and with the use of technological tools.
