Stephen Strand | |
Steve Strand is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at CSU, Chico. His research in undergraduate Mathematics Education is primarily focused on developing inquiry-oriented, student-centered instructional sequences for upper-division math courses using the design theory of Realistic Mathematics Education. Tenchita is a Graduate Research Assistant finishing up a PhD in Mathematics Education in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Portland State University. Her dissertation work is on students' collective mathematical activity in proof-based courses with a focus on how it transpires in remote environments and with the use of technological tools.
